Great Web Sites for Schools: AFS Continues Relationship with Gahanna-Jefferson Schools

The Gahanna-Jefferson School District's web site and application development project has been awarded to AFS WEB / At First Site, Inc. AFS WEB has had experience working with another large web project for the City of Gahanna, and this project continues our service to Gahanna's residents and families.

The District's web site will significantly move forward the level of interaction between teachers and parents through a Classroom Portal system that AFS WEB will develop. "The Classroom Portal will give teachers the flexibility to update their class pages quickly and easily without any HTML programming knowledge necessary" says Christina Blenk, President of AFS WEB. The site will also offer a database driven lunch menu system and advanced calendar system for all of the districts schools to use for their events as well as the district department.

Once complete, the new Gahanna-Jefferson School District web site will be a model for other districts across the nation. For more details on this project, or to discuss the needs of your school district, please contact Christina Blenk at 614-479-0000.

Check back in the fall of 2009 for the announcement of the new design!
