OSU School of Communication: All Paperless Applications
This department was teaching the science of communication, but had a web site that didn't pass their standards for ease of use or interactivity.  Applications for the major came on paper and took weeks to enter, update, process, and notify. 

OSU asked AFS Web to redesign their web site, provide a full-featured content management system (Zoom CMS), and build multiple custom applications so that students could apply for the major, internships and scholarships all online.  Not only do they apply online, but those applications are reviewed, grades are synchronized automatically with the registrar, approvals are made and students are notified without the need for any paper.

The result?  Processes that took weeks and a team of people have been reduced to a couple of hours.  Smart!
